Cutie! (Levi X Shy!Reader, Modern AU) Ch. 14

With a loud thump you place the last cardboard box down.
You sigh as you slide down to the floor, out of energy.  Levi spots you sitting and quickly yanks you up of the floor.
"Oh no," He says, "We still have to get the mattress in."
Another sigh escapes your lips and you groan quietly as you lift yourself up off the floor.  

You both exit your new flat and start pushing the mattress that had been leaning against the wall in through the door.  Once it's in, you both carefully arrange it next to the bed frame, and let it fall.

You lace your fingers together and stretch your arms downwards, trying to work out the kinks in your arms. It had been a long day, and you were ready for a nap, but you try to resist the urge. You knew if you sat down again he would say something to you. Something...not nice.
"Which box is the bed stuff in?" You ask as you jump from box to box, taking a peek at each's contents.
"The one labeled 'Bed'." Levi says flatly, unimpressed.
"Oh...heh, right." You say, embarrassed. You brush a lock of hair away from your rosy cheeks. You had forgotten he had labeled everything. With all the labels it was impossible to lose anything.
After searching for a while, you finally found it. But of course, it was the last box in a pile that was taller than you. At least five boxes high.
You reach for the box that was on the top, stretching your arms as far as they could go and standing on your tippy-toes. Your fingertips reached the bottom of the box and you carefully, carefully pulled it towards you.

You wobbled. The box wobbled. The box most definitely would have fallen on your head and knocked you out had Levi had not come up behind you and placed a supportive hand on both the box and your back. He clicked his tongue disapprovingly.
"You are extremely lucky I'm here," He says, looking at you. "Or you would have been dead multiple times today."
You look at him with a sheepish smile. You had had quite a few accidents, but they weren't that bad...were they? You looked at the three bandaids on you hands. Maybe...you should be more careful.
"Sorry..." You apologize, trying to squirm out of his arm that had wrapped itself around your waist. He quickly pushes the box back to it's original position and his other arm finds its way around you. You press your lips together as he leans in closer and pecks them.
"What are you doing that for?" He asks, irritated.
"Doing what?" You ask innocently, but fully knowing what he meant. He huffs and kisses you again.
You enjoy it; it's sweet and caring. But then you feel something pinch your lip.
"Ow!" You cry out, quickly pulling back and putting a finger to your lip.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to do it that hard." He says as you check your finger for blood.
"Su~re." You say as a smile crosses your lips. "As if I wasn't injured enough already." You say jokingly as you wiggle your fingers with the bandaids in front of Levi's face. You see a ghost of a smile appear on his face as he grabs your hands to stop them from moving. He pulls your arms straight out until they're both behind his head. He pulls your waist in even closer, leans in once again, and...
He moved faster then you expected as what you thought was going to be a kiss quickly turned into something else as he picked you up and carried you back to the bed, and threw you onto it. You bounced and blew your hair out of your eyes to look at him.
"I'll get the sheets," He said. "You stay there."

"Stop looking at your stupid anime shit and help me make the bed." Levi said as he threw a pillow in your face. You threw the pillow back at him, pouting, and put your phone away. How he had known you were on Tumblr, you had no idea.
"Have you forgotten," you say as you start to tuck corners of the sheets under the mattress, "That I can't make a bed?"
"No," he says, "I just don't really care at this point. I'll fix it tomorrow, right now I just want to sleep."
You agree as you help him finish.

You both fall into the bed, tired from the day and tired of thinking of all the things you had to do tomorrow. Before falling asleep though, you look at him. You honestly don't remember ever being this happy before. His grey eyes were watching you as well. You snuggle a bit closer and give him a smile that would melt anybodies heart. His cheeks turn pink and he quickly pulls you into a hug, hoping that you didn't see his blush. But you totally did.

The next day was just as hectic as you had both thought. Both of you were running around trying to put everything in it's proper place.
It was a beautiful day outside, so you had all of the windows open and the door open as well. And the smell of Levi's cleaning products were slowly suffocating you, so you had to do something.

You were looking for the dishes. Levi told you that he had put them by the door so that's where you went. There were quite a few boxes there so you had to bend down to look at all the names on the sides. Suddenly, you heard a small knock at the door.
You quickly stand up and look, praying that they hadn't been there for long because you didn't want their first impression to be of you bending down.
"Hello." You say quietly, your shyness popping out in bright colours on your face.
"Hi." The boy said back, also a bit quietly. The first thing you noticed about him was his bright emerald eyes.
"C-can I help you with anything?" You say timidly.
"Oh! No, I just wanted to introduce myself, since I live across from you now." He said. You couldn't help but notice the redness spreading on his cheeks.
"I'm Eren Jaeger, and I live with my friend Armin. If you need any help with anything, just ask."
"Oh, alright. Thank you."
"No problem. See you."
He turned around and left, leaving you with a funny feeling.
You found the plates and brought them back to Levi, who was too absorbed in his cleaning to have heard what had happened by the door.

For the next hour or so, all you could think about were those green, crystal clear eyes.
