Cutie! (Levi X Shy!Reader, Modern AU) Ch.4

'Eh? EHHHHH?? WHAT DID HE JUST SAY TO ME?!' You thought frantically, your cheeks now full-on red.

"[Name]? Are you coming or what?"
"O-oh, yes." You say trying to compose yourself.
"Good! Oh I was meaning to tell you..."
Oh great, here we go.  Hanji continues to talk to you but you let your mind wander to other things because you knew what she would soon be talking about.  Her precious experiments.  You don't know exactly what kind of experiments she does, but you do know that they get a little gory.  Not that you really mind, but real gore always grossed you out more then fake gore like on TV shows.  
'She truly is a mad scientist.' You think to yourself as you nod and smile at Hanji, trying to show her you have a little interest in what she's saying.  

~Levi's P.O.V~

Erwin and I walk in silence as we walk through the mall with Hanji and [Name] behind us.  I take a quick look back to see what they're doing, and I can't say I was surprised.  Hanji is gushing about her disgusting work while [Name] nods and smiles when Hanji gets really rambunctious.  I can tell [Name] isn't really paying attention because there is a distant look in her eye.
She looks back at Hanji and closes her eyes, brings one hand up to half-cover her mouth, and let's out a small giggle.
'Tch, why is she so damn cute?!' I think looking forward again, trying to cover my slightly pink cheeks with my hair.

Erwin lets out a small chuckle, and I glare up at him.
"What?" I ask him with anger in my voice.
"Ah, nothing.  It's just I didn't know girls like that had any effect on you." He chuckles.
"Yeah, well your wrong." I say looking away.
"So, when are you going to ask her?"
"Ask her what?"
"For her phone number."
"None of your damn business." I reply with clenched teeth.

"Ooooo [Name], [Name], [Name]! I bet you wanna go in there don'tcha?" Hanji suddenly starts to say excitedly (and loudly) to [Name].
"No, it's okay..." [Name] says quietly.  But Hanji won't take 'no' for an answer and starts dragging her to a store.
"Well, looks like we're going in there." Erwin says, and starts following Hanji that is, yet again, dragging a now somewhat sour looking [Name] into a bookstore.  

I follow them in as they make their way to a certain section.  [Name] isn't looking very impressed at the moment and is blushing a little.

We make it to Hanji's destination.  I look up to the sign above all of the books.  Manga.  Manga?
I look at [Name], and she sees me looking, and gives me a sheepish smile and blushes some more.  

Hanji then grabs both of her shoulders with her still facing my direction, and pushes her forward, causing her to fall right onto me.  Horror is displayed on her delicate face as she falls towards me.  I take a step forward and outstretch my arms.  She falls right into them and grips the top part of my arm, her [h/c] hair flies around me.  I can feel her body press against mine as she tries to regain her balance.  She smells delightful.
"Well, you two have fun!  We're," Hanji grabs Erwin's arm, "going to look at some other books!" She says, grinning like an idiot.  She quickly gets the hell out of there, because she knows better then to stay, as the two of us were staring daggers at her.  [Name] twirls on her heel and makes a very rude gesture to Hanji, not even trying to hide it.  I hold in a laugh.  To think someone like her could get like that when she gets angry.  

When Hanji and Erwin disappear behind some shelves, [Name] turns back to me.  Her dainty hands were balled into fists, and an angry (but cute) expression mixed with a blush was displayed on her face.  
"S-sorry..." She says uncomfortably, the anger on her face disappearing but the blush still glowing on her cheeks.
"It's shitty glasses fault, not yours." I say.
She looks up at me with big eyes.  I quickly turn away and start down the aisle, trying to hide my own blush.

'Man,' I think to myself, 'If she was my girlfriend, I would tease her to death just to see that face.'

~Reader's P.O.V~

'Damn Hanji. Why would she fucking do that?' I seethe as I follow Levi down the aisle of books.  'If she does stuff like that, I will really lose my temper!'  
Not very many people know, but when I get mad, I get MAD.  Like, I will kill a man over a cookie if he makes me mad about it.

I keep a fair distance away from Levi, but I keep my eye on him.  The way he picks up a book and flips through it while skimming through the words and pictures is so cute.  
You look over the books and your eye spots your current obsession.  Shingeki no Kyojin.
You pick up the 3rd volume and quickly flip through the book.  Levi curiously looks at the book over your shoulder.  
He returns the book he was holding back onto the shelf and takes a step towards you, and leans over your shoulder a little bit.  His breath stirs some of your [h/c] hair and you continue to nervously flip through the book.  The hairs on the back of your neck stood on end, Levi's breath was now on your neck, as he leaned back a little.
"What book is that?" He asks, kinda sounding like he doesn't give a shit.  But if he didn't care, why ask?
"Attack on Titan." You reply, too embarrassed to say the Japanese name just in case he thought it was weird.  
"Is it good?"
"Yes!" You say a little too excitedly.  You bite your tongue and look down, a slight blush on your face.  'He probably thinks I'm crazy now...' I think sadly to myself.
"Maybe I'll have to read it..." He says, picking up the 1st volume.  You were a little taken aback.  
'Is he reading it because I like it, or was he going to read it anyway?'  You think, blushing at the thought of the first.

"Come with me." He says in a little bit of a commanding tone.
"O-okay" You say.

He makes his way to the check-out and purchases the 1st volume, you following close behind.  We go to the door where Hanji and Erwin are already waiting.
"Oh~, leaving together are we~?"  Hanji teases.  
Levi shoots her a glare, and you do the same.  She quickly backs off.
